I was working as a retail supervisor but the company folded resulting in redundancy. A friend mentioned his work were looking for a temporary admin assistant to scan paper mobile bills (remember them?!). That was back in 2005 and I’ve been with Tariffcom ever since.

It varies massively day to day and it’s something I love about my job. I can be doing anything from graphic design, UI design, front end development, creating explainer videos and putting together Proposition proposal pages for our customers. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say but at the moment I’m working hard on prototypes for some design changes to Proposition that I think our customers will love.

Things will never change if you don’t step out of your comfort zone. Change is scary but if you don’t try, you’ll never know. Also, invest in yourself and your future because you never know what is around the corner.

I’m really enjoying working from home at the moment so that, minus a worldwide pandemic, would be ace! I’d love to be able to work flexible part time hours from a house that’s big enough to have a fully set up gaming room to stream my gaming sessions and a pet photography studio in the grounds. Ideally on the Isle of Skye with a wee helicopter that can fly me to watch Dunfermline Athletic play every week.
