Myself and Iain created Tariffcom in 1996 when we recognised the need for a truly independent service provider that could make clear, accurate and honest comparisons in what is an incredibly complex pricing market.

Now that my two daughters are grown up and fending for themselves, my wife and I like to spend time travelling – ideally to places warmer than Scotland. Closer to home I spend my spare time playing football (slowly), watching football (at normal speed) and playing tennis. I also seem to spend an inordinate amount of time attending to the never-ending list of stuff that needs fixed or replaced around the house!
